Intro to SPF Classes

9b7e1f4b57885498c814b21722ccdaeeSPF is offering a 4 week class called INTRO to SPF.  This class is for new members only.  During the 4 weeks we will be focusing on how to execute proper form of many of the exercises we do during our regular group classes.  After the sessions are over you will be able to come into any of the group classes with the knowledge and confidence that our “veteran” members have.  Each class will have no more than 6 participants.  The cost is $100 for 4 hour long sessions.

INTRO to SPF will be offered at the following times:

Tuesday at 7:30pm from 2/26 – 3/19

Thursday at 6am from 2/28 – 3/21

Thursday at 9:15am from 2/28 – 3/21

SPF will be hosting a special couples Valentine’s Day BOOT CAMP on Friday, February 15th at 7:15pm and Saturday, February 16th at 1pm. It will consist of a thorough stretch and warm-up, a butt kicking workout, and a cool down stretch. The cost is $30 per couple for an hour class. There is only space for 5 couples per day and it is on a first “email”, first serve basis. You will receive a confirmation email to ensure you have gotten a spot in the class.


100_Medicine_Ball_SlamJoin us Friday, January 18th at 6:30pm for a 30 minute medicine ball workout.  Following the workout, you will learn how to make your own medicine ball.  You can choose to make your medicine ball whatever weight best suits you.  Can’t beat it….get a workout in, learn how to make a medicine ball, and take your medicine ball and a medicine ball workout home with you.  The cost is only $35 per person.   12 person max.  Email me at to reserve your spot.  Payment must be received by January 15th through the mail or drop it down at the gym.  Please do not send in payment until I respond to your email to be sure there are enough spots.

MudManX – Saturday, 7/29

Join some SPF members for the MudManX on Saturday, July 29 in Manchester.

MudManX, an adventure race like no other. Designed with the assistance of US Special Forces and with obstacles inspired by the 4 primary elements…Earth, Wind, Fire & Water, our insane 8 to 10 kilometer courses will transport you back to the early days of mankind, when we were forced to do battle with mother nature for our own survival.

Tri Beach Challenge – Monday, 7/23

Come join this FREE awesome fitness challenge at the beach facilitated by some local fitness trainers from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Our “Beach Tri Challenge” events will be RUNNING with Brian Prendergast, BEACH BOOT CAMP with Jennifer DeKenipp, and YOGA with Geri Jannarone.

Running Clinic with Brian Prendergast

Do you currently run or are looking to start?
Are you interested in learning proper running techniques?

Brian Prendergast has offered to meet up with our SPF members to give us tips and techniques to learn or improve your distance running. Brian is a certified coach through USA Track and Field.
The best part is….it’s free!

We will meet on Sunday mornings beginning May 6th at 6:30am at Community Park in Point Pleasant.
