Boot Camp Challenge In Boot Camp, you never know what your will get, but you can be guaranteed a killer workout every time. Whether it’s a team, partner, or individual challenge, your heart will be pumping and the calories will be burning. Some of the challenges may include box jumps, battling ropes, kettlebell swings, burpees to name a few.
Circuit Time This class is a combination of strength and conditioning exercises performed circuit style. Rest assured it never gets old because changes to time intervals mix things up.
Kickbox Circuit This class teaches all of the basic punches and kicks and puts them into a one hour cardio-kickboxing class designed to burn fat and strengthen the body. It is a fun, high energy workout that can be done at almost any fitness level. The “Mix” portion of this workout includes strength training, Tabata workouts and circuit style training.
Tabata Training is one of the best ways to lose weight without losing muscle in a short period of time. It is made up of intervals of work and rest for 8 rounds (4 minutes). Here is an example…Squat Thrust for 20 seconds Rest for 10 seconds Squat Thrust for 20 seconds Rest for 10 seconds Continue on for 8 rounds total, which equals 4 minutes. In some cases our Tabata can be made up of 2 or more exercises. For example, alternating between Mountain Climbers and Flutter Kicks for 8 rounds.
Tone + Tabata This class consists of strength training with resistance bands, free weights, body weight, and weighted body bars, mixed with cardio and strength Tabatas. We will focus on specific muscle groups in the toning while trying to have more full body exercises integrated with the Tabatas. Beginners to advanced fitness levels will benefit from this class.
Yoga This class is Vinyasa Yoga which consists of poses that flow from one to another in conjunction with the breath. Vinyasa means “flows with breath”.
