For Pete’s Sake 5K Saturday, May 3, 2014

Saturday, May 3, 2014 the Gym is CLOSED! This is an annual tradition to get all of our members to participate and attend the “For Pete’s Sake 5k,” in Manasquan. This is a memorial race for Pete Gibbs,  trainer Melissa “Gibbs” Moberg’s father, who passed away a few years ago. It is a great event! Come join is in support of “Trainer Gibbs.”

Kids Boot Camp is HERE!

imagesKids boot camp is here! All children ages 9-11 are welcome. The sessions start April 5th and will be held on Saturdays at 10:15A.M. There are 8 classes for ONLY $50!  Children will learn about nutrition and participate in an array of workouts  for 8 weeks!

Six Week Challenge Weigh-Ins

Please come to the gym Saturday, April 26 or Sunday, April 27, from 11:00A.M.-12:00P.M.

If you can not make the above times, please contact Jen or your trainer to set a specific time!

March AMRAP Challenge

winnerWant a free training session or even TWO free training sessions? Get down to the gym and get your best time for the AMRAP contest for the month of March.  The fastest time will earn TWO free training sessions with John and the runner-up time will earn ONE free training session with John.

The AMRAP consists of:

75 Jumping Jacks

50 Jump Squat

25 Burpees

15 Man Makers

10 Sit-ups

sweet_16Some of our members are off to a fast start in our SWEET 16. You may ask, “What is the Sweet 16?” Well…

Any SPFer that make it to 16 classes during the month of February gets an awesome Shore Point Fitness t-shirt. Check your SPF account to see how many classes you have to come to this month so far.
Can’t find it? Ask an SPF instructor to check for you.
The SWEET 16 list will be emailed at the end of the month.

Schedule Changes


  • The Friday 6pm class will no longer run.  Brian will now instruct “Functional Friday” at 4:15pm.
  •  We are now offering MONDAY 4:15pm “Boot Camp” w/ Jennifer.  For the next 3 weeks the class will only be 45 minutes due to conflicting classes, but beginning on March 10th, the class will run for a full hour.
  • John will now be instructing the Tuesday 6pm “Boot Camp”.  
  • Beginning Saturday, March 5th, there will be a 9:15am “Boot Camp Limited” class offered.  The class will have a member limit as it will be combined with the current Point Rec class.  Members that want to take this class must log into their SPF account to sign up for this class.  You will be able to see if there is space available in this class when you go to log in.
